1. Sepoy General Duty (BPS-05)

• Educational Qualification (Civilian Candidates): Minimum Middle (8th class pass). Candidates with higher qualification will be given preference.
• Educational Qualification (Ex-Servicemen): As per prevailing rules / equivalent qualification.
• Age Limit (Civilian Candidates): 18 to 30 years (as of 31 October 2025). Includes 5 years general age relaxation given by the government. Preference will be given to candidates aged 18 to 22 years during final selection.
