Government of the Punjab, Transport and Masstransit Department has launched Phase-2 of the Chief Minister’s Youth Initiative (CMYI) E-Bikes Scheme. Under this green revolution project, 100,000 electric scooties and bikes are being distributed to male and female students across Punjab on interest-free, easy monthly installments with extensive government subsidies.

Eligibility Criteria & Key Instructions
◼️ Institutional Eligibility: Regular students enrolled in both Government and Private recognized colleges or universities are eligible to apply.
◼️ Age Requirement: Students must be at least 16 years of age or older at the time of application.
◼️ Mandatory Driving Document: Valid Motorcycle Driving License or Learner Permit is compulsory. Applicants without a license/learner permit must obtain one before applying.
◼️ Bank Account: The bank account must strictly be in the applicant student’s own name.
◼️ Allocation & Scrutiny: Applications will be verified through educational institutions and financial partners; quotas for female students are reserved to empower mobility.
